Content Creation Festival

Join us for a week of special training on creating content for social media.

The ‘Content Creation Festival’ will run from Monday 3rd August and you can get access to all of the sessions from only £19.

The sessions will be hosted live in the Members Community Facebook Group so you can interact with the expert speakers and get your questions answered.

But don’t worry if you can’t make the sessions Live you’ll be able to watch the recordings back at a time that suits you.

You’ll also be set tasks from each session so you’ll finish the week with a whole bank of new content to share on your social media accounts.

Getting started with Canva and graphic design basics with Gemma Lloyd, Social Mums

Gemma is the founder of Social Mums and has over 15 years experience working in design and marketing. With a degree in Design Management, Gemma personally creates all the visuals for the Social Mums social media accounts.

In her session at 7pm on Monday 3rd August she will take you through some graphic design basics that are essential for creating visual content. Plus she will show you how to get started with Canva to put this new knowledge into practice and create professional looking graphics yourself.

How to repurpose content to connect with your audience with Amy Woods, Content 10x

Amy is an expert in content repurposing and the Founder of Content 10x – a niche creative agency. She helps content creators grow their audience by maximizing their return on the content they create. She works with businesses, entrepreneurs and thought leaders, and is the content repurposing powerhouse behind some of the most well-known podcasts and video shows.

Amy is the host of The Content 10x Podcast and she is the author of best-selling book Content 10x: More Content, Less Time, Maximum Results, the ultimate guide to reaching more people online with your content.

In her session on Tuesday 4th August at 10am, Amy will show you how to Repurpose Content to Connect with Your Audience. The session will include;

Creation & consistency: using Pinterest for maximum impact with Eve Tokens, Pinterest Strategist

Eve Tokens is a Pinterest strategist working with female business owners in the UK, US and Europe. Eve grew her main B2B business using Pinterest as her primary traffic source, and the strategies she uses have helped her clients and her students to drive considerable website traffic, leads and sales consistently in both B2B and B2C niches.

In her session on Tuesday 4th August at 7pm you will learn about the visual content you can use on Pinterest as well as being consistent with your strategy and understanding what is and isn’t working. This will include:

  • The visual content you can create: video pins, story pins, regular pin ’styles’.
  • The dimensions, the formats and creating pins that convert.
  • Three methods of staying consistent on Pinterest in a non time-sucky way!

Top tips for filming video content on your smartphone with Lauren Kayser, Moviebytes

Following a decade of working in Marketing and Customer Insight where Lauren learnt the basics of video storytelling, Moviebytes was born in 2016. What started with helping clients to manage their personal video content – a flexible job to fit around 3 young kids – soon grew into working with heaps of businesses and charities to help them tell their stories and engage with customers. Many of Lauren’s video skills are self-taught and she enjoys helping and inspiring other women in business to use more video.

In her session on Wednesday 5th August at 11am Lauren is delighted to share some of her top tips that will help you capture decent video content using just your smartphone camera. Her session will cover the following:

Jane is a branding photographer and brand expert who helps business owners to create a stand-out brand, with fabulous photos, so that they can attract their ideal clients and grow their visibility, brand and business. Her mission is to help even camera-shy entrepreneurs to get on-brand photos that they love, that tell their story and connect with their audience.

In her session at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5th August she’ll take you through how to build a stand-out brand with photos as well as how to take scroll-stopping photos yourself. It will include;

After 10 + years in the advertising and film industry Alice Loveday is on a mission to spread the magic of stop motion and make it more accessible to smaller independent businesses. Alice has created animations for clients such as Ikea, Weetabix, Cosmo and the Australian Museum.

Ella is a social media marketer and owner of Much More Social which she started in 2018. Before retraining in social media marketing, she was a teacher for many years. Ella quickly realised that great marketing requires the same skills as teaching – understanding your audience’s problems, communication skills, planning, implementation and measuring outcomes.

She runs several client accounts as well as managing her own platforms and website. She also delivers training and consultancy. Ella can be found on LinkedIn on a daily basis but is passionate about all aspects of social media marketing. 

In her session on Thursday 6th August at 7pm, Ella will show you how to post content that will make you stand out on LinkedIn. She will cover;

Making the most of your videos – structure, planning and editing for greater results with Mi Elfverson, The Vlog Academy

Mi started her career in film and TV over 25 years ago after completing studies at Stockholm Film School and New York Film Academy. After many years of freelancing in high-end film and TV, working on everything from Kellogg’s commercials to the Bond films, she set up The Vlog Academy.

Mi now teaches entrepreneurs as well as global companies to use smartphone video to establish themselves as experts in their field and to communicate better with their teams. Her training is inspiring, fun and interactive, leaving participants feeling boosted and encouraged to take action.

In her session on Friday 7th August at 10am Mi will go through some simple but important steps of the video process. She will show you how to plan your videos and the structure you need to think about to connect on a deeper level with your audience and grow your following. She will also give you a quick introduction to editing to raise the look of your end result.

Did you know that you can create eye-catching video content using Canva? In this session on Friday 7th August at 7pm, Gemma will show you the various ways that you can quickly and easily create videos that will stand out on social media using Canva.

Creating content for the four area of Instagram

In the penultimate session of the festival on Saturday 8th August at 12pm, Instagram expert Gemma will take you through the four area of Instagram. She will talk about their differences and the type of content you should be sharing to each in order to grow an engaged community of followers on the platform.

Create engaging content for your Facebook page

Then in the final session of the week on Sunday 9th August at 7pm, Gemma will tackle one of trickiest social media platforms when it comes creating content. She’ll take you through what content you should be sharing to increase engagement on your Facebook page. She’ll look at all the ways you can share content to the platform, the things to try as well as some important content to avoid.

Plus if you complete all the tasks set by our experts you’ll finish the week with a whole bank of content ready to share to social media.
